Clearword is a solid, functional AI meeting assistant with genuine adoption and integration into Microsoft Teams, offering reliable transcription and action-item extraction; competitive but not category-defining against stronger alternatives like Fireflies.ai or Otter.ai.
Clearword appears to be a modest, niche meeting-notes assistant rather than a category leader, with limited visible market presence and differentiation compared with widely used alternatives like Fireflies, Otter, and tl;dv.
Clearword competently handles AI meeting notes and action items, but by 2026, it is a solid yet unremarkable option that lags behind more advanced and widely adopted competitors in a mature and crowded market.
Clearword shows no meaningful adoption, reviews, or market presence in the AI meeting notes category as of 2026, making it effectively unknown or non-viable next to established tools like Otter and Fireflies.
